Shir Shabbat - A Service of Song, Spirit and Celebration! Shlomo Carlebach was known as the Singing Rabbi and he wrote many well-known Hebrew songs. He also created a new way of chanting the Friday night kabbalat Shabbat service. Many people have found this to be a very spiritual, dynamic service. One person said, "It instantly opened my eyes to what, for the first time ever, I perceived as genuine prayer." Come check out the more intimate seating and a Friday night siddur that emphasizes understanding, kavanah, and spirituality. We promise you will be energized and inspired! There is always a wonderful oneg with lots of scrumptious treats following services. All are invited to join us!
