Makor Or: A Center for Jewish Meditation

Full day silent Meditation Retreat
High Holy Days Retreat
Led by: Norman Fischer and Rabbi Dorothy Richman
Sunday August 19th 10:00am - 5:00pm with Lunch break

Join Norman Fischer and Rabbi Dorothy Richman for a day of meditation, teaching and prayer in preparation for the High Holy Days. The Days of Awe open us to the questions of who we are and how we live our lives. As we breathe in meditation we allow ourselves to open to change and teshuvah. Turning from the path of distraction, we realign ourselves with love and compassion, as we approach the beginning of the new year.

This day long retreat includes silent sitting and walking meditation, contemplative prayer, and teachings.

No previous experience with meditation, Hebrew, or prayer is necessary.

Please respect our member with asthma and do not wear scented products, even natural scents, to Makor Or programs.
