A staple in Jewish kitchens around the world, the aubergine - aka eggplant - is notorious for being DELICIOUS in every way. This November, OneTable, WZO-DDA and JIMENA will partner to bring you a NOSH:pitaity that will leave you ready to turn an everyday vegetable into an AuberGENIUS dish.

In commemoration of Mizrahi Remembrance Month (November), we will learn how to prepare Levantine style grilled eggplant, sabich (traditional Mizrahi Jewish eggplant sandwich), Yemenite eggplant salad: tomato sauce with a kick, and vanilla ice cream with sweet eggplant jam. The class will be lead by Aliza Grayevsky, a multigenerational Jerusalemite, and founder of "Bishulim San Francisco," a boutique catering company that specializes in private dining based on the inherent diversity to Israeli cuisine.
