Presented by Women's March San Francisco and the JCCSF

Women with disabilities suffer from double discrimination based on their sex as well as their disability, as noted by the United Nations. Women with disabilities face greater risk of violence, abuse, neglect or exploitation and have often been ignored in the women's movement.

This panel features representatives from local non-profit organizations discussing their work, the challenges of advocating for disabled members of our community and the intersection between women's rights and disability rights.

Come early to the JCCSF!
Starting at 6:00 pm, write and send postcards to your representatives and the White House; we've got supplies and we'll take care of postage! Justice Grace Vineyards will also hold a complimentary wine tasting from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm!

This event is part of a series designed to foster greater connections between citizens and organizations dedicated to promoting civil liberties, human rights, equality and justice. Join us to learn more about these organizations, the services they provide, the state of the nation and, most importantly, what ordinary citizens can do to help. Stay tuned for upcoming programs on disability rights, racial justice and more!
