Taking It to the Streets: Celebrate Israel!
Yom Ha'atzmaut Celebration
Sunday, April 30, 2017
1-5pm @ The Osher Marin JCC

Celebrate Yom Haatzmaut (Israeli Independence Day), with snacks, music, crafts and two very special art workshops that bring the spontaneity of Israeli street art into our JCC! From commemorative posters to public murals, art is a way to celebrate people and events, showing our pride and excitement in a tangible way. This program is sponsored by the Jewish Community Federation and Sterling Bank/Seligman Family Foundation.

Activities include:
- Two unique Jewish street art workshops, led by L.A.-based artist, Hillel Smith*
- A presentation by Hillel Smith on celebrating culture through art
- Israeli folk dancing for all
- A special exhibit of vintage Israeli posters
- Tasty Israeli snacks
- A multi-sensory Israeli flag-making station for kids
- Music, dancing and merriment!
- All ages are welcome to celebrate Israel's birthday!

*Attendance to each art workshop is extremely limited, and tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis. To purchase tickets, please call 415-444-8000.
